Gerry Weber Open sees ISKO powered 'Fashion Night'

From 7 to 15 June an intense atmosphere surrounded the stadium hosting the competition which was won by Roger Federer, with ISKO as sponsor. On the evening of Saturday, 14 June, tennis fans and fashion lovers met at the GERRY WEBER EVENT CENTER to join the GERRY WEBER OPEN FASHION NIGHT, which this year was powered by ISKO, with the motto, "Fashion Fairy Tales".

THE GERRY WEBER OPEN from the famous German fashion brand, is a tennis tournament held in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. Since its first edition in 1993, the event has taken place in Halle Westphalia on grass courts and is part of the ATP World Tour 250 series: it gives players their first chance to play on the surface in the lead-up to Wimbledon.

Roger Federer won here his seventh title here, brightening up this edition of the tournament which had a record number of spectators with around 110,700 visitors and managed to gain new global brands as sponsors, recently even Microsoft and Ebay.

Furthermore, partnerships with Melitta, Dr. Oetker, Storck, Schüco or Mercedes-Benz continue to grow, and also ISKO made its entrance in this world, as official sponsor of the GERRY WEBER OPEN and presenting sponsor of the FASHION NIGHT held on the evening of the 14th of June.

The event, powered by ISKO, focused on the fashion show showcasing the fall/winter trends for GERRY WEBER, GERRY WEBER EDITION and TAIFUN, with the motto: "Fashion Fairy Tales". The top model Franziska Knuppe led 20 international models on the catwalk. Among them, there was Stefanie Giesinger, cover face of the June edition of the German "Cosmopolitan" magazine.

For the occasion of this collaboration, ISKO also ran a dedicated digital contest on its social networks, where people were asked to take a photo of themselves in their perfect denim outfit to watch a tennis tournament. The results were exciting and the winners won a tennis outfit featuring the ISKO BLUEJYM fabric realized by Creative Room, the ISKO division for stylistic research, and also special access to the VIP area during the event and to THE GERRY WEBER OPEN FASHION NIGHT.
